Oval gold and enamel snuff box, the hinged lid mounted with an oval plaque depicting an allegory of peace (a female figure at an altar with doves), on a blue guilloché enamel ground, decorated with polychrome flowers and gold husks, with coloured gold borders cast with foliate trails; the sides with floral garlands on a similar blue ground, divided by gold pilasters cast with altars.
