A watercolour design for a six-light stained glass window, in a mount which replicates the tracery of the window. In the top register, the Holy Trinity can be seen over Windsor Castle. In the bottom register, from left to right against a background of smoke and flames, appear a man carrying Sir Thomas Lawrence's portrait of Sir James Wyatville, St George and the dragon, and a fireman using a hose to quell the flames.
This is the fourth and final design by the stained glass artist Joseph Nuttgens for the window to be installed in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle after the fire. For earlier designs, see RCIN 933302-4. -
