A watercolour design for a six-light stained glass window, in a mount which replicates the tracery of the window. In the top register, the Holy Trinity can be seen over Windsor Castle. In the bottom register, from left to right against a background of flames, appear a phoenix, St George, and a fireman using a hose while another man carries a painting away from the fire.
This is the third of four designs submitted for review by the stained glass artist Joseph Nuttgens for the window to be installed in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle after the fire. The fourth and final design is RCIN 933305. -
