A page of watercolours including a Parsley Grape, a Crocus with a caterpillar, a Frog and another Caterpillar, a Monkey eating Cherries and a Parrot, Toucan and Stork in miniature and a Pomegranate flower. The double-flowered pomegranate was introduced to England around 1620 by the renowned gardener, John Tradescant the elder. The frog is one of Marshal’s most realistic animal drawings.
