A pen, oil and watercolour drawing of the wedding of Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coburg at Carlton House in 1816. Also present are Queen Charlotte, the Prince Regent, Duke of Kent and the Chancellor.
The drawing was attributed by Oppé to Richard Westall, history painter and teacher to Princess Victoria. Another drawing of the same subject is RCIN 917629.Provenance
