A watercolour of an officer of the Russian Imperial Guard, shown mounted, riding to left, followed by three other figures. This is one of a large number of illustrations of military uniform acquired by George IV. Many of these drawings were by Denis Dighton, who was appointed Military Painter to George in 1814.

Purchased by George IV when Prince Regent from the artist on 10 June 1814 for £12 12s (Royal Archives GEO/MAIN/26945)
