A pen and ink and watercolour drawing of a lady in a black dress and red skirt, seated on a chair in a park, in profile. The sheet of paper is circumscribed with a black line. Mounted together with RCINs 914469-77. The small scale and handling of the watercolour is similar to RCINs 914469, 914470, 914475 and 914452, all of which have or previously had similar black line borders. The figures in 914470 appear in one of Sandby's earliest etchings, made in Scotland in 1751 (RCIN 814310.e).
