A study of St Jerome, naked, kneeling on his left knee, facing to the left with his head almost in profile to the left, and his body turned away from the spectator. In his left hand is a crucifix, and his right arm is stretched out behind him. On the verso is an inscription: Leonardo da Vinci .5.3. .(?Gibson).
