A photograph of a drawing in the Royal Library at Windsor Castle (RCIN 912728) attributed to Giulio Romano and probably an elaboration of a study by Raphael for the fresco The division of the lands painted by the workshop of Raphael (c.1517-19) in the vault of the tenth bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. The drawing is squared in black chalk.
Ruland (1876) catalogued another drawing for this fresco, then in the Royal Library, Turin (see RCIN 853583 for a photograph), which he considered a copy after RCIN 912728.Provenance
