A photograph of a drawing now in the Albertina, Vienna (inv.no.174), described as being a copy after a design by Giovanfrancesco Penni for the fresco God appears to Isaac painted by the workshop of Raphael (c.1517-19) in the vault of the fifth bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. The design of which the drawing in this photograph is a copy is now in the Staatsgalerie, Stuttgart (inv.no.C 96/4478), where it is considered to be an autograph work by Raphael.
