A photograph of a drawing generally attributed to Francesco Penni now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.4304). The drawing is thought to have served as modello for one of the groups with a pope flanked by angels, caryatids and allegorical figures painted in the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican. However, since there are no frescoes corresponding with this drawing, it must presumably date from an early stage in the project.
