A print reproducing the figures painted in monochrome on the dado below the fresco of The Oath of Leo III in the Stanza dell'Incendio in the Vatican. Lettered with title and production details (including publishing date). Annotated in pencil on both sides. Stamped with the blind stamp of the Calcografia Regia di Roma (Lugt 2144). Not in Ruland (1876).
The crowned seated figure flanked by terms is Constantine the Great, one of the six Protectors of the Church painted along the dado of the Stanza.Provenance
