A print reproducing the figures painted in monochrome on the dado below the fresco of The Fire in Borgo in the Stanza dell'Incendio in the Vatican. Lettered with title and production details (including publishing date). Annotated in pencil on both sides. Not in Ruland (1876).
The crowned seated figures are two of the six Protectors of the Church painted along the dado of the Stanza; on the left is Godfrey de Bouillon, and on the right is Astolph of England. The figures are flanked by terms.Provenance
