An engraving depicting naked men and women bathing in a large tub catalogued by Bartsch as by Giulio Bonasone and after his own design. Signed by the printmaker. Annotated on the verso. Trimmed within the platemark.
Massari (see Bibliographic References) interpreted the subject of the print as Venus, Mercury and Cupid at the bath and ascribed the design to Raphael (c.1511-16).Provenance
