Lettered with attribution of the drawing to Raphael and production details. Published in S. Mulinari, Disegni originali d'eccellenti pittori esistenti nella Real Galleria di Firenze..., 1774, pl.IV, no.14. A photograph of the drawing at RCIN 851202.
The print shows the Virgin, seated three-quarter to the left, holding a book with her left hand and supporting the Christ Child with her right, who sits on her knees.Provenance
