A photograph of a drawing catalogued by Ruland (1876) as being then in the possession of Messrs Colnaghi & Co. The drawing has been described as a copy of a now lost design for a Virgin and Child composition, formerly associated with Raphael and once in the hands of Baron Stackelberg. A painting of this composition was listed by Ruland as in the possession of Thomas William Coke, 2nd Earl of Leicester, Holkham. See RCIN 851111.
