A photograph of a drawing currently in the Royal Library at Windsor Castle (RCIN 912739). The drawing is a copy of a red chalk study by Raphael (c.1518) now in the Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe degli Uffizi, Florence (inv. no.535E; see RCIN 851040 for a photograph of it), executed in preparation for the figures of the Virgin and Child in the so-called Holy Family of Francis I, a painting attributed to Raphael and his workshop (1518) currently in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.604). Photographs of the original study by Raphael and of the Holy Family of Francis I can be found at RCINs 851028, 851040.
