An engraving after the so-called Holy Family of Francis I, a painting attributed to Raphael and his workshop (1518) now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.604). State without any lettering. Another impression of this print can be found at RCIN 851030.
Showing the full-length seated Virgin supporting the Christ Child stepping out of His cradle; with St Joseph behind her on the right, and the crouched St Elizabeth supporting the Young John the Baptist who clasps his hands in adoration on the left; behind them an angel crowning the Virgin with flowers and a young woman with hands crossed on her chest; in an interior with view of landscape.Provenance
