An outline-etching after a painting when in the Coesvelt Gallery, London. Lettered with production details. Included in Collection of Pictures by W. G. Coesvelt, Esq of London, 1836, plate 41.
The composition closely resembles an engraving by Marcantonio Raimondi generally described as after a drawing by Raphael related to his paintings of the Madonna di Foligno and Madonna Sistina. An impression of Marcantonio's engraving can be found at RCIN 850942.
