A print after a painting traditionally known as the Madonna del Divino Amore (c.1516), currently attributed to Raphael’s workshop and housed in the Museo e Gallerie Nazionali di Capodimonte, Naples (inv. no.146). The legend indicates that the painting was then thought to be by Raphael and then housed in the Palazzo Farnese. With the collector's mark of E. Esdaile's at lower right (Lugt 2617). Lettered with production details. Annotated in ink at lower left: 70.
