An engraving after the so-called Canigiani Holy Family, a painting by Raphael (c.1506-07) now in the Alte Pinakothek, Munich (inv. no.WA 476). The plate is dedicated to King Ludwig I of Bavaria, in whose possession was the painting when this print was made. Lettered with production details. See RCIN 850756 for a photograph of the painting.
