A photograph of a pen and ink drawing formerly attributed to Raphael, currently housed in the Berlin Kupferstichkabinett (inv. no. KdZ 21517). In Ruland's Raphael Collection catalogue (1876), the drawing was described as being then in the Royal Collection at Berlin.
Apart from a few details, the drawing corresponds with the composition of a painting now in the Galleria Palatina, Palazzo Pitti, Florence (inv. Pal. no. 247), formerly attributed to Raphael and Giulio Romano, and now thought to be by G.F. Penni.Provenance
Acquired for the Prince Consort's Raphael Collection (c.1860-76)
