A photograph of a silver point study executed by a 16th century Florentine artist now in the Uffizi, Florence (inv. no.1327F).
The drawing has been connected with Raphael's so-called Madonna dei Garofani (or Madonna of the Pinks), a painting now in the National Gallery, London (inv. no.NG 6596). Compared to the painting, the figure of the Christ Child is here shown in reverse. See RCIN 850738 for a print reproducing the painting.
