An uncoloured print depicting sea-sickness. A later print based on this scene is entitled 'A fresh breeze' (See BM Satires 7549). The travellers on the deck of the ship on rough sea are gagging and are unwell. The crossing appears to be rough with one passenger's case tipping over the deck of the ship. A man wearing a binding around his head hops on one foot with a bucket by his feet whilst another man comforts a lady. The Captain who steers the 'Margate Hoy' appears un-troubled. Earlier uncoloured impression of RCIN 810130 with two publishing dates.
