Red baize and leather ammunition pouch embroidered in silver thread with coronet, GP monogram, inscriptions and interlaced border; wood cartridge holder; two suspension loops with oval metal attachments.
Provenance
Purchased by George IV when Prince Regent (with ensuite belt, which is no longer in the Royal Collection) from Thomas Cuff on 16 August 1814. Pouch altered in October 1816 when the Battle Honours of Peninsular and Waterloo were added.
