A pair of pear-shaped Canadian blue sodalite urns, each mounted with a gadrooned, domed cover with a pomegranate finial; with angular handles cast with goats' heads and a fluted socle with laurel wreath border, on a square base with incurved corners.
Provenance
A note in Queen Mary's inventory of bibelots notes the vases were made to order for Queen Mary when Princess of Wales.
