  • An engraving of Cardinal Albert of Brandenburg, Archbishop of Mainz and Magdeburg. Bust length figure in profile right, in the dress of a Cardinal with a mozzetta and biretta. With coat of arms in the upper right corner and Albrecht Dürer's monogram in the lower left. This print is lettered across the top: "MDXXIII / SIC. OCVLOS. SIC. ILLE. GENAS. SIC. ORA. FEREBAT. / ANNO. ETATIS. SVE. XXXIII."; at the lower left: "AD" [monogram]; along the bottom: "ALBERTVS. MI. DI. SA. SANC. ROMANAE. ECCLAE TI. SAN. / CHRYSOGONI. PBR. CARDINA. MAGVN. AC. MAGDE. / ARCHIEPS. ELECTOR. IMPE. PRIMAS. ADMINI. / HALBER. MARCHI. BRANDENBVRGENSIS."

The print formed part of an album of portrait prints assembled by Cassiano dal Pozzo in Rome and described in an early nineteenth-century inventory of prints in George III's library as Portraits of Popes and Cardinals. The album was arranged hierarchically from popes to cardinals and thence on to archbishops and bishops, and within each category chronologically (starting from St Peter, according to tradition the first pope). The album was dismantled later in the nineteenth century and the prints that were retained were integrated with others in the collection.
