Engraving of Charles I as king. Scene of the King being seized from Holmby House, Northampton, by Cornet George Joyce. Charles I, to the left, depicted in a night-shirt, cap, and gown, seated in a chair, being addressed by a group of men, some of whom are armed with pistols. With English and French inscriptions below. Plate six from a series of ten prints from the life of the King, sold by John Bowles.
