A Russian hard-paste porcelain dinner plate, the lobed rim painted with dark blue C-scrolls divided by gilt foliate scrolls; painted at the centre with a crowned double headed Imperial eagle above an inscribed pink ribbon "THE QUEEN VICTORIA".
Provenance
A Russian hard-paste porcelain plate copying an English plate which was part of the furnishings of a yacht given by Queen Victoria to Tsar Alexander II and subsequently owned by other members of the Russian Imperial family.
