Description

A large rectangular malachite paperweight with a cylindrical malachite handle supported on 2 gilt metal scrolls. Flanked at either end by a rectangular porcelain plaque painted with views of palaces, each with a gilt metal border.

Possibly given to Queen Victoria by Grand Duke Alexei Alexandrovich, 1880
