Description

A pair of Wedgwood creamware urns and covers, each with an artichoke finial and two shaped handles in the form of splayed stylised foliage, decorated throughout with trails of ivy.

Provenance

Probably ordered by Queen Charlotte. A similar service survives in the dairy at Althorp House, Northamptonshire.
