A silver-gilt cup and plain cover, with a crown and cushion finial, and egg and dart border. The cup has a gadrooned rim and lower body, two double reeded scroll handles and is chased with a band of fruiting vine. The cup is engraved with the Royal coat of arms.
Provenance
The cup was used at the Coronation banquet of George IV in 1821.
