Sèvres soft paste porcelain vase and cover. Pale blue ground with gilded decoration, oval shape with fluted splayed circular stem, angular handles and - later - acorn finial. Oval reserves painted with polychrome figure scenes.
Provenance
Possibly bought by George IV from Edward Sharpus in the quarter ending 10 October 1819: ‘A large turquoise colour Vase Sevre China £63’ .
