In the collection of Charles I (recorded by Vanderdoort); perhaps sold in the Commonwealth sale to Colonel Hutchinson, on 24 May 1650; recovered at the Restoration; probably in inventory of Charles II, c.1665, when it was recorded as being in the King's Closet at Whitehall; included in Walton's inventory (1704-10) as at Kensington; recorded by Vertue in 1743.
