Description

8-pointed gold-edged white Maltese cross, gold ball tipped, lions between arms. Centre: 3 crowns, rose & thistle on sceptre, gold on white, surr by motto, gold on red, & green laurel wreath tied with blue ribbon inscribed ICH DIEN. Surm. by crown

Provenance

Belonged to King George IV when Prince Regent. There were 8 crowned badges made in 1814/15 for the Knights of the Royal Family and the Duke of Wellington
