Mantel Religieuse clock set in a rectangular ebony veneer and oak cases with tortoiseshell inlaid with pewter with a stepped top and flambeau finials at all corners. The dial has a silvered chapter ring with the 12 hours represented by roman numerals and a pair of pierced gilt metal hands. The eight day locking plate striking mechanism has a going barrel movement and anchor recoil escapement.
