Photograph of the Foundling Hospital in Moscow. The building has four storeys and three small towers to the far right. There are outbuildings in front of the hospital and a river in the foreground. A small group of boats are moored to the right. This is one of a series of photographs taken by Corporal J Mack during the coronation celebrations of Alexander II, Emperor of Russia. He was part of a group of British representatives led by Lord Granville.
