Teesdale was Equerry to the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, between 1858 and 1887. Teesdale accompanied the Prince of Wales on his 'Eastern Tour' in 1862. He was later awarded the Victoria Cross and acted as Master of Ceremonies between 1890 and 1893.Provenance
