Photograph of a full length portrait of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) and Albert, Prince Consort (1819-61). The Queen stands facing the viewer with her left hand on the Prince's shoulder and her right hand on the pages of a book or album that the Prince holds. The Prince is seated in left side profile, looking down at the book, with his right leg crossed over his left.
