Photograph of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) seated, facing three-quarters to the right, looking down at a picture of Prince Albert (1819-61), who had died the year before. She holds the picture on her lap with her left hand. She places her right arm around Princess Louise's (1848-1939) shoulders. Princess Louise kneels by her mother's side, also looking at picture. There is a bust of Prince Albert in the background.
