Princess Alice is seated facing the camera, her body slightly angled to the left. She looks at the camera. She wears a satin wedding dress, designed by Norman Hartnell, a pearl necklace, pearl stud earrings and a tiara with a veil attached. She holds a large bouquet of roses and lilies. Large flower arrangements containing lilies and chrysanthemums, among other flowers, have been placed either side of the Princess.
