Photograph two ponies standing in a clearing with two grooms. The light colour pony on the left, named Malakoff, belonged to Queen Victoria (1819-1901). The dark colour pony on the right, Dhuglass, belonged to Prince Albert (1819-1861). The men attending to the ponies both wear kilts. Photograph taken at Balmoral.
