Photograph of John Brown standing and facing three-quarters to the left wearing a Glengarry hat, jacket and kilt. He holds the reigns of a white pony that stands in left side profile with a saddle on its back. Behind the pony is a tree.
John Brown was a servant to Queen Victoria and was born in Crathie Scotland on the 8th December 1826. He died at Windsor Castle on the 27th March 1883. He is buried at Crathie Kirk in Aberdeenshire.Provenance
