Photograph of one side of chasse, a house-shaped box. The side shown is decorated with a scene of a man wearing a turban carrying a cross, being led by two male figures. Behind him, on the left, are three figures. One of them kneels before the man and presents him with a severed head wrapped in a cloth. Above the scene , in each corner, is an animal. The triangular top section of the box contains a depiction of two seated, crowned male figures. On each side of the box is a pillar, featuring a depiction of a standing human figure. The box is supported by large feet.
