Bedford photographed this unidentified man while visiting the Karnak temple complex. He may have been assisting the royal party in Egypt, or may have been a local inhabitant. The photograph is unsigned and uncaptioned. A second print in the collection (RCIN 2861552) is signed 'F Bedford Karnak'. The photograph was not part of the Day & Son series.
