Photograph of the Puerta del Perdón, or the Door of Forgiveness, on the north side of Seville Cathedral. The entrance comprises a Moorish archway that formed part of the original Mosque that originally occupied the site. 16th century terracotta figures by the sculptor Miguel Perrin (1498-1552) flank the arch. The bronze door on the right stands open to reveal part of the Patio de los Naranjos (Courtyard of the Orange Trees) and above the arch is a relief portraying a biblical scene.
