The honeymoon was spent at Broadlands in Hampshire, the home of the bridgegroom’s uncle, Viscount Mountbatten. Sixty years later, the Queen and the Duke were recorded in the same setting for their Diamond Wedding anniversary. Both photographs were taken at Broadlands.
