Photograph of the engine and coal wagon used by Royal Train that transported Queen Victoria (1819-1901) and Prince Albert (1819-61) on the Chemin de fer du Nord line, called Nord no.137, during their state visit to France. One man stands on the engine wagon and another man stands on the coal wagon. Both men wear dark colour caps and dark colour clothing. There are buildings in the background. This photograph is part of an album of prints presented to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a memento of their state visit to France from 18-27 August 1855
