Photograph adhered to paper of a view towards Windsor Castle from the north banks of the River Thames, otherwise known as the Brocas in Eton. The castle can be seen in the background with the Round Tower and the Curfew Tower visible. On the left of the foreground are buildings and a path following the river on which people stand including a number of girls with young children seated inside perambulators. A small white dog stands with its back to the viewer. On the far left stands a man in right side profile, wearing a top hat. Another man leans against the wooden fence that borders the path. A number of boats lie moored on the water.
