Photograph of two men outside a tent. One man stands by the entrance of the tent with his jacket undone, holding a kettle in his right hand. The other man sits on a rock to the right holding a long stick. On either side of the tent's entrance there is a pile of stones with a cannonball placed on top. Behind the men to the right there are several more tents and a group of men. The troops engaged in the Siege of Sevastopol camped in the countryside surrounding the town.
